A dad who was put in charge of his kids' morning routine accidentally sent his daughter to school in her underwear. More is below:
A dad has accidentally sent his daughter to school in her undies, but to be honest, the tot found it downright hilarious.
Aliza Friedlander, from Maryland, US, shared her husband's unfortunate error on Instagram and other parents went wild for it.
She wrote that after leaving her husband, Brad, to do the school run on his own, their daughter Brooklyn, 3, somehow ended up going to school in her knickers.
Explaining that she was a stay-at-home mum for five years before recently returning to part-time work, Aliza said that an early work engagement left Brad in charge of getting their kids to school.
Everything seemed okay, Brooklyn and older sister Lila, 5, both arriving on time - it was only when she received a text from a friend at the school that she discovered something had gone wrong.
"Apparently, my daughter decided to wear underwear (not just any underwear but thick diaper like training underwear used for potty training) and told my husband they were 'short shorts,'" Aliza wrote in Instagram.
She included a shot of Brooklyn's outfit, which included a pink top, sneakers, and the aforementioned undies.
"Based on her smile and the fact she locked her door while getting dressed, I’m pretty sure she knew they weren’t shorts!!"
