Serena Williams Getting Her Own Wheaties Box

Serena Williams will be appearing on Wheaties boxes for the first time in her tennis career. USA Today says:

For all the Grand Slam trophies Serena Williams has hoisted, she had yet to pour a bowl of cereal with her face on the cover.

General Mills announced Tuesday that the 37-year-old would get her own Wheaties box for the first time in her prolific career.

“I have dreamt of this since I was a young woman and it’s an honor to join the ranks of some of America’s most decorated athletes," Williams said in a statement on the General Mills blog. "I hope my image on this iconic orange box will inspire the next generation of girls and athletes to dream big.”

Williams joins the likes of all-time greats Michael Jordan, Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson, Muhammad Ali, Tiger Woods and Michael Phelps gracing the front of the cereal box.

So cool!
