Northwestern Grad Used Polar Vortex to Prepare For Mount Everest Hike

A Northwestern graduate used the polar vortex to prepare for hiking up Mount Everest to benefit cancer research. Alex Pancoe had a brain tumor while he was a student at Northwestern. He hopes to raise $1 million for Lurie Children's Hospital which is where he was treated. He used the polar vortex these last few days to test his gear for the hike he'll be doing in a few months.
