Lyft is offering free rides to people who need to go to warming centers in the city through Friday. Of course, due to the freezing temperatures, there are parks and even CTA buses being used as warming centers in Chicago. Here's more from the Chicago Tribune :
" To help those in need of shelter, Lyft announced Tuesday that the company would offer free rides to any warming shelter in the city up to $25 with the code “CHIJAYDEN19.” The “Relief Rides” offer is good for up to two rides and will be valid through Friday night at 11:59 p.m. Obviously many of the folks who are most in need of shelter might not have a mobile phone or the Lyft app, but any Lyft customer can use their code to call a free ride for someone in need."
